MetaTwin is a platform that enables creators to develop AI-powered "digital twins" that can interact with their audience via text, voice chat, video chat, voice calls, and video calls. We also provide mental health–oriented self-care modules and daily routines for meditation, sleep, and mindfulness. While we strive to support mental well-being, MetaTwin does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional mental health counseling. Please consult a qualified healthcare provider if you have or suspect you have a mental health condition.

We collect or receive personal information in a few ways—directly from you, automatically through your interactions with the Service, or from third parties (where permissible by law). This includes:

Contact Information

Examples: First and last name, email address, mailing address, phone number.

Purpose: To create your account, verify identity, send administrative notifications, and communicate about our Service.

Account/Profile Data

Examples: Username, password, profile photo, or avatar image.

Purpose: To create and maintain your MetaTwin account, enable AI-twin functionality, and enhance personalization (e.g., selecting which self-care modules to highlight).

Mental Health and Self-Care Data

Purpose: To personalize the self-care experience and suggest relevant modules. Note: This information is not considered "protected health information" under HIPAA and is not treated as a medical record.

Communications

Examples: Emails, chat logs with an AI twin, voice or video interactions recorded or transcribed (as permitted).

Purpose: To provide requested support, troubleshoot issues, improve our AI models, and train or refine conversation flows.

Important: We may store or analyze chat/voice transcripts to enhance our Service. We take measures to secure any potentially sensitive content.

Payment Information

Examples: Payment card details if you purchase paid features.

Purpose: To process payment transactions. Payment card data is typically collected directly by our third-party payment processors and not retained by MetaTwin.

Technical and Usage Information

Examples: IP address, device type, browser version, pages visited, session duration, in-app interactions, and cookies.

Purpose: To analyze use of the Service, improve functionalities, perform diagnostics, and support security features.

Biometric or Media-Based Data

Examples: Images, audio, or video you submit to create your AI twin.

Purpose: To generate and maintain a digital representation of the creator (e.g., voice, face). See Section 8 for more on our policy regarding biometric data (such as voice or facial features).

You may choose not to provide certain personal information; however, doing so may limit your ability to use some features of the Service (for example, voice or video chat).

For users interacting with a specific creator's AI twin, certain usage metrics or aggregated conversation analytics may be shared with that creator or their authorized team. This helps the creator understand audience engagement and improve the AI twin's responses.

Business Transfers

If MetaTwin is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, in accordance with applicable confidentiality and privacy laws.

Legal and Compliance

Declining to Provide Information

Our Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. MetaTwin provides access to self-care modules, routines, and AI-powered interactions that can offer mental health–related support and guidance. However:

• MetaTwin is not a licensed healthcare provider and does not offer formal diagnosis or treatment.
• Any content or guidance provided on the platform should not be interpreted as medical advice.
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or believe you require professional counseling or therapy, please contact a qualified healthcare provider or dial 911 in an emergency.

In the context of creating AI-powered digital twins, we may collect and process data that could be considered biometric data under certain laws (for example, voiceprints or facial geometry):

Collection

• We may collect video recordings, images, and/or voice samples to create AI models that replicate a creator's likeness.
• Providing such media is voluntary. If you decline, certain AI-twin features may not be available.

Use

• We use biometric data to generate and maintain your digital twin and to improve the platform's accuracy.
• We do not sell, rent, or otherwise profit from biometric data.

Storage and Retention

• Biometric data is stored securely in accordance with industry best practices.
• We retain biometric data only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. If you delete your account, we will delete biometric data within a commercially reasonable time, unless legally required to retain it.

Disclosure

We do not disclose biometric data to third parties except as needed to power your AI twin (e.g., a secure AI provider under contract) or if required by law.

We maintain industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no security practice is foolproof, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please protect your account credentials and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized use of your account.

MetaTwin is headquartered in the United States and our Service is intended for U.S.-based creators and audiences. However, we may work with affiliates or third-party providers located in other jurisdictions. By using the Service, you understand and agree that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We take measures to protect personal information consistent with this Privacy Policy wherever it is processed.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this document and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as sending you an email notification).
